Hello all. I'm just about 11 weeks and have the most excruciating sciatica. I have had it for 3 or more weeks now and today it has just ramped right up. I'm in agony even led down. Constant shooting paint across my back, down my right side to my knee and almost my foot.

What can I do? I guess this is pregnancy related??

Google yoga exercises for sciatica. Cat-cows etc. can be very helpful. See a physio.

See a physio! Midwife can refer you.

I got it in pregnancy but because I was pregnant they just said don't worry when the baby comes it will go ... didn't and now at 4 months postpartum facing 6-12 months of rehab physio and on very strong pain killers ... if it doesn't work then they're saying I'll need surgery to fix the disc protrusion

Not to be scary but I had this, didn’t go away after having my little girl. DD was 18 months when I had emergency spinal surgery - a disc in my spine was compressing the nerve group controlling the legs, bladder and bowels which caused me to lose feeling in my legs and saddle area.

Mine possibly only went as far as it did as I expected it to go away so didn’t go to the docs for a year, then the docs took a long time to do anything. It’s rare for it to be as serious but it happened to me so it’s worth checking out.
