Movements Before Labour

Afternoon all

I’m currently 36+4 and have been having some stronger than usual movements today, with quite a dull ache in my lower stomach and back.
When I feel my back, it almost feels like the lower part has popped out a bit (as strange as that sounds!)
I obviously don’t think I’m in labour, but I was wondering if I could be gearing up to it?
It would be great to hear similar experiences and if it means anything or it’s just a random occurrence!

I think at around that time my bump dropped slightly which seemed to really change the baby's movements into much stronger ones! Back might be hurting where it's changed position and a different part of your back is having to support it?

@js30 - that’s a good point! I had a midwife appointment yesterday and he was already engaged so it might just be that.
Thanks for replying!
