Second missed miscarriage after having 1 child?

Hi all,

I'm not even sure if this is a great idea to ask, but I have my early scan tomorrow and I am petrified. I've chosen to keep it to myself because I can't bare anyone to see me crumble again after my last missed miscarriage.

Has anyone had a child, then a missed miscarriage with a successful pregnancy afterwards? Two midwives have told me that it's very unlikely, however, I'm here now convinced that something is wrong.

A member of my family had a tricky time with miscarriage after having one child no problems but is now 35 weeks pregnant. Hang in there - they are horrible but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong and it will happen again . Good luck

Thank you so very much Mouse, that's the only successful story I've heard so far and that's why I've posted on Mumsnet to see if there are any out there. I shouldn't be googling but all I've had is the worst outcome.

I have it tomorrow, I've never been so scared. I genuinely think I was less scared for the time I gave birth to my little one x
