Childs asleep got an hour to kill, was just wondering what you guys liked/dislike about being pregnant.

My favorite thing was using my bump as a table to rest things on. Mug/plate/pack of biscuits Grin. I also miss have doors held open and people giving up seats or letting you jump in front in a queue. Least favorite was morning sickness, that sh*t sucked lol.

Hope you have a good evening, Amy x

Favourite - feeling baby moves and no longer feeling like I need to suck in my belly...!

Least - feeling like a beached whale / discomfort in bed

catlady3 · 25/02/2020 18:35

Least - couldn't brush my teeth for fear of being sick.
Most - the hormones. Something about it made me all mellow and happy.

theseriousmoonlight · 25/02/2020 18:37

I'm currently pregnant with dc2 and love my bump. I'm one of those women who can't stop stroking it I'm afraid although I really can't help it.
I hate being unable to move without grunting though as the bump is always in the way!

wondering7777 · 25/02/2020 18:48

Favourite - just knowing I have a baby on the way is very exciting!

Least favourite - the hospital and midwife appointments, the tiredness, the constant worry that I can’t feel my baby moving enough

Redcrayons · 25/02/2020 18:51

Favourite - my babies
Least favourite - everything else.

I didn’t enjoy pregnancy, i glowed for about 5 minutes the rest of the time I was rough AF.

SpiltMilk100 · 25/02/2020 18:55

Favourite - my hair is just gorgeous, I can go about 5 days without washing and it doesn't ever look greasy, it's grown so much and is beautifully shiny! My nails are also now rock solid and have grown loads whereas before they were very brittle and had to be kept short.
Love feeling baby move and having a bump.

Worst - the aches and pains, the nausea, the exhaustion and feeling like a whale. And how easily I put on weight.

Amimissingsomethinghere · 25/02/2020 18:59

The pros - being able to grow a healthy baby
The cons - everything else. I HATED being pregnant!

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 25/02/2020 19:10

Least favourite - hyperemesis. Every day is a living hell.

Favourite - my depression and anxiety has improved ALOT since being pregnant. And I'm even off my medication!

OlivejuiceU2 · 25/02/2020 19:36

Least - definitely the sickness. Threw up constantly for 2 months

Favourite- bump, feeling baby move, my partner talking to bump

fibeee · 25/02/2020 19:42

Most - feeling baby move and kick
Least - impossible to get a good nights sleep

Whatsnewpussyhat · 25/02/2020 19:48

Favourite - the happy hormones. I felt great.

Worst - giving birth

PiratePetespajamas · 25/02/2020 19:55

Love: mostly everything. Love my body/bump, love love love feeling my babies move, my skin gets great, my hair never needs washing, and I NEVER EVER have to shave my legs (weird, just doesn’t grow).

But I don’t like the anxiety it provokes in me (worrying if everything is okay) and not being able to turn over/get up from sitting.

thethirdbar · 25/02/2020 21:22

Currently 18+2 w/twins, first time mum.

Favourite: DH has to clean the litter tray

Least favourite: literally everything else so far. Being pregnant is awful, I can't believe people do it more than once! These babies had better be worth it! (I'm sure they will be)

1Pinkfluffyelephant · 25/02/2020 21:32

Favourite - feeling baby move and the excitement of DC1 and the love she has for bump already.
Least- baby getting bigger and the kicks causing internal bruising and not being able to sleep at night.

managedmis · 25/02/2020 21:35

Fave : seats on the metro, baby kicking

Least : Carpal tunnel

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 25/02/2020 21:44

18 weeks here and favourite thing is feeling flutters and the start of a bump.

Hated the nausea and food aversions. Along with the tiredness that makes me SO lazy!

Umberta · 25/02/2020 22:01

Least favourite: feeling sick, faint, dizzy, tired, bloated, smelly...
Favourite: erm... ok I had to think about this! Obviously happy that I'm going to have a baby. But the most current thing I love is realising how nice and kind everyone is. My husband doing everything around the house, my mum and in laws sending me gifts like ginger sweets and bath oil... men giving up seats on the tube... a woman stopping and asking me if I was ok when I felt faint in the station... people are so nice! How did I not notice or appreciate them enough before!

Umberta · 25/02/2020 22:04

The other day on the tube there were these two scruffy teenage boys who looked fairly good-for-nothing at first glance (haha judging purely on looks!) and one offered and gave up his seat to me. And I just beamed at the beautiful world and can't wait for my son or daughter to grow up into a dear teenager too. (Don't burst my rose tinted bubble please haha!!)

Babyg1995 · 26/02/2020 11:24

Best feeling baby move
Least everything else so fed up now @ 34 weeks

Megan2018 · 26/02/2020 11:29

Best bit - all of it, I felt absolutely bloody amazing throughout.
Worst bit - couldn’t have cake (gestational diabetes).

amazedmummy · 26/02/2020 11:29

Best - knowing that I would get to meet my little guy.

Worst - pretty much everything else, I had SPD, I was in pain from 10 weeks. I was tired, felt sick, hated how my body changed and how much I had to rely on people to get around. Hated all the appointments and blood tests. I know DS will be an only.

sel2223 · 26/02/2020 11:35

16 weeks here:

Favourite - my bump appearing, hearing my baby's heartbeat at my midwife appointment this morning

Least favourite - the nausea and tiredness, the massive appetite, the insomnia, being out of breath at the slightest activity, generally feeling like a whale

TwoKidsStillStanding · 26/02/2020 11:42

Favourite: feeling baby move, having a bump, and not having to think about what my stomach looked like. Oh, and the hair!

Least favourite: how long have you got?! The constant worry - it made my anxiety and depression about ten times worse. The carpal tunnel (DC1), the PGP (DC2). The discomfort getting up from bed/the floor - I love being able to move without grunting! Oh, and the nausea. And the bone-crushing exhaustion. Don’t think being pregnant suited me....

Mysocalledlifexx · 26/02/2020 12:12

I loved it all but loved watching my bump grow & feel them move
The worst thing was the worrying.

Jg93x · 26/02/2020 12:32

Best - the excitement to meet the baby and watching my belly get bigger! My hairs been growing loads too.

Worst - then sickness, hands down the worst 🤢 followed by the crippling headaches, 0 energy, dizziness and anxiety haha!
