Anyone know any? Officially starting the baby shop today, I have 8 weeks left with possibility of induction being moved forward so thought I should get started.

The snuzpod and chicco next to me are too overpriced so defo not those.

xx

We got the Babylo cozi sleeper its £90 and the cheapest one we could find. The prices are ridiculous but it's so worth it.

csmw · 25/02/2020 11:56

Apparently aldi do one that is reasonably priced, We had the one from smyths for our last daughter cant remember the name but the mattress was very hard.

We have bought a new one for this baby which is a tutti bambini cozee crib but got it in the mothercare closing down sale.

Def second hand.. I’ll be selling my Snuz after our second & final baby & it’ll be in immaculate condition. Used for a max of 6 months per baby. The only thing it’ll need is a new mattress at £35ish.

There are loads of Snuz & Chicco’s for sale near me on Facebook marketplace..!

Buy it second hand and get a new mattress. I did this, used it for 2 kids and sold it on for what I paid! I had a snuz pod which was great. The issue with some is they don't go high enough for some beds.

Wanderer1 · 25/02/2020 12:01

I also suggest second had. I've just got an immaculate £300 cosleeper for £60 on eBay. Mattress will be £13 brand new.
So far the mattress, bed sheets, and a car seat are the only things I have bought new at all.

corduroyal · 25/02/2020 12:14

Also think secondhand. Popular ones like snug and chicco prob keep their value more

We used cot strapped to bed with side off after a while - so that if you have space and can make a level surface

Nowayorhighway · 25/02/2020 12:42

Secondhand snuzpod and just get a new mattress, that’s what I did.

Nowayorhighway · 25/02/2020 12:43

The new mattress was £25 and I paid £30 for a local snuzpod on eBay, £55 seemed reasonable to me.

Thanks all

@Elli19 Where did you get the fitted sheets from? Just bought the Babylo Cozi xx

Second hand and new mattress-I got a Tutti Bambini and a mattress for about £70 and will probably get the money back when I sell!

csmw · 25/02/2020 13:34

@kayleesmithy just looked that's the one I had from smyths, it should come with 2 sheets but smyths and Asda both sell crib sheets that fit between £7-9

Bluebelltulip · 25/02/2020 14:45

I've got the babylo one and got extra sheets from 'for your little one'.

kayleesmithy · 25/02/2020 15:41

ok thank you xx @csmw
