@albiemum so you only kind of 4 weeks now then so that's within the normal range for pregnancy it just has to double every 48hrs are you having more bloods done?

albiemum · 25/02/2020 11:26

@KHall84 yeah she's doing them in a week so 🤞🤞🤞 ive been getting positive faint lines for a week, then a negative clear blue digital, so that's why I got them done thought it was really strange xxxxx

Hey OP

The value in itself is less important, what's important is that it doubles every 48 hours ideally.

I'll find a link for you someone posted about hCG levels before.

Good luck!

The doubling is the most important bit however there has been a few studies which show that less than 100 on 14DPO then the % chance of a successful pregnancy reduces

albiemum · 25/02/2020 11:58

Thankyou everyone, I will read through that link now xxxxx

Mine was just 22 at 4 weeks but doubled every 35 hours. Currently 13 weeks.

Having a nightmare here with HCG Levels
3rd feb 47 Monday, after a really heavy clotting bleed. Exactly like period
5th feb 51 Wednesday
7th feb 108 Friday
13th feb 640 Saturday
15th feb 880 Thursday nothing found on scan. Thought that was it. I'd miscarried
21st feb 2260 and scan showed 6weeks. I should be 8 weeks. Last period 27th December. Is it possible I could be 6 weeks
Last night and Today, I've had very dark brown spotting when I wipe.
03rd March is my next scan booked. I'm in limbo hell. I don't think it's hopeful for me. I'm so so confused as to what's going on.

startdust · 25/02/2020 19:52

Sorry, HGC HAHA

albiemum · 28/02/2020 09:03

@startdust how are you getting on? I've just got a positive 1-2 pregnant on clear blue but spotting when I wipe. Xxx

OP posts:
startdust · 28/02/2020 14:33

@albiemum not great I'm afraid. Still spotting clots and a bit redder when I wipe. I'm
Going to sit it out until Tuesdays scan. Not to be a nelly negative but I think it's over.
I can't be going and sitting up the EPU for 4 hours it's draining. I'll wait until Tuesday and what will be will be. I'm not in pain and still have absolutely zero pregnancy symptoms.

Congratulations to you! Amazing news xx

albiemum · 28/02/2020 14:38

Awww hun I have everything crossed for you!
Tbh I'm not very positive, I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks found out at my 12 week scan in November. Had to have the surgery.
Last month tested positive and then bled, and I'm just hoping it isn't happening again this month 😩 xxxx

startdust · 28/02/2020 16:40

@albiemum this is number two for me as well. So I know the signs by now. I'm
Not giving up, I just want to get back to it. This limbo has been going on to long now. Plus I think the other half wants some
Action again haha.

Keep positive. I got a good vibe for you.

albiemum · 29/02/2020 07:54

@startdust keep me posted how you get on at scan. I've woke up with a bit on a pad, just so confused as to whats going on 😩😩 xxxx

OP posts:
startdust · 29/02/2020 11:45

@albiemum it's all so confusing. I wish there was a simple way to know, just know that everything was going to be ok. Now I'm just really dark brown mostly when I wipe.
Tuesday is the next scan. So I'll update then.

I got my positive test 23rd January. I was very very light spotting for about 4 days then as well.

albiemum · 29/02/2020 11:52

@startdust mines gone to heavy red bleeding AGAIN. I have no idea why this keeps happeninh to me. Baby no 2 seems impossible xxxx

OP posts:
startdust · 29/02/2020 17:40

@albiemum have you got an appointment booked or scan ?

albiemum · 29/02/2020 17:47

@startdust my local EPU is Burnley and they haven't offered me a scan. Only blood tests on Monday xxx

@albiemum it’s about an hours drive but can you get to Manchester?

St Mary’s hospital have a phenomenal emergency gyne unit that’s open 24/7. They won’t have a sonographer this time of night but will do you bloods straight away!

I went there when I had a MC last August and they were so good!

So sorry to hear what you’re going through! Brings back memories xx

albiemum · 29/02/2020 18:16

@MrsRose2018 really? This is really good to know Thankyou so much. I've started bleeding so heavy now, and clotting so it's not good news for me 😢 3 in a row now, I don't know if to stop trying or carry on. Just can't deal a with anymore set backs xxxx

OP posts:
MrsRose2018 · 29/02/2020 18:38

Oh absolutely!! If you go Monday-Friday (I think) before 5pm they will scan on on the day!

First pregnancy I went too late in the eve so they couldn’t scan but they did my bloods and told me to come back the next day for a scan!

This pregnancy I went in and they scanned me within the hour as they thought ectopic (it wasn’t and thankfully just a scare). Even in non emergent cases they will scan you same day!

If you can I would say pop over now, I think it will be the consultant on at this time I think! Or at the very least keep in mind if you keep getting fobbed off by your EPU!

I am so SO sorry to hear that! But again at St Mary’s if you have 3+ miscarriages you go under the care of their recurring miscarriage unit for future pregnancies! Also I think you can now start various protocols like hormone injections/medications and can ask for investigations as to the cause - I don’t know this first hand! Only what my manager has told me who’s wife had 5 MCs and my stepdad who’s daughter had 2

Xx

MrsRose2018 · 29/02/2020 18:39

Oh they will give you an internal examination if you as well just FYI x
