Period like cramps at 33+4

Hello!

I'm sure there have been loads of these threads so I probably know the answer (call the MW!) but with a toddler at home I don't want to raise alarms when not needed!

Woke up about an hour ago with strong period like cramps and feeling like I might vomit. I'm only 33+4 so it seems very early for labour... That said I never had BH last pregnancy, at least not any I noticed, and haven't so far with this one.

First baby came bang on 37 weeks.

Did anyone else have this? The pain feels similar to only two experiences I've had before - a bad period starting and early labour!!

Please ring the labour ward for advice. If it is labour it is likely to progress very quickly.

I'm not sure what it is, and I too suggest you call the midwife!

I've been having those throughout my 3rd trimester (currently 35+6). Mentioned it to the midwife a couple of times but she barely even acknowledged it
