Hi all,
Has anyone had twins or singletons delivered at 32 weeks or so? How were they? Did they turn out fine or were there lasting disabilities? 😬
I am developing pre-eclampsia so it's now a question of how long I can keep the twins cooking for....😦

I know of a girl born at 28 weeks. She was in hospital for quite some time but she is a clever little girl now doing well no problems related to birth.

I've had a singleton at 32+6, hes now 7 and has the eyesight of a new born baby, asthma and suspected autism and adhd. He is perfectly healthy apart from them things. He was fine when he was born, breathing on his own ect, he just couldnt latch to me or a bottle so had to be tube fed.
Wishing you the best of luck xx

I had a 32 weeker. He had problems sucking when first born, and had to be fed through a nasal gastro tube for a week or so. They kept him in hospital for 3 weeks, until he reached the 35 week gestation point. He had no other problems, except for jaundice. No problems except late walker. He is now an extremely intelligent 8 year old, with no health issues whatsoever.

I hope your twins are both doing well, and you all have a healthy remainder of the pregnancy, and birth. Sending lots of love x

Thank you everyone for your replies! It's helpful to hear some realistic outcomes rather than general descriptions. X
