i don;t believe there is a correlation with the amount of BH you have and whether you go into labour spontaneously

i don;t recall any BH with my first pregnancy, whereas i had them in my second from about 19 weeks

your baby obviously needed to cook a bit longer!

Oh God! Don't say that Biglips. I haven't felt any Braxton Hicks and I'm 34 weeks. I really don't want an overdue baby...I feel ready for mine to come out now.

With dd1 and 2 I never had any that I rememeber and like yourself I was induced with both. With DD3 I had loads and really strong ones for months and I only went four days over and went into labour naturally.

missbumpy · 06/09/2007 09:13

I hope so...I'm starting to wonder how much bigger/more uncomfortable I can get!

northstar · 06/09/2007 09:15

I had no bh with either of my pg's. Ds was a day early and dd a week early.

berolina · 06/09/2007 09:22

Had none with ds, he arrived 2 weeks early after a 2-day labour (but the whole labour was so odd, and I'm now 38+6 with no. 2, BH galore and no sign of anything happening, that I'm wondering whether the labour was 'too early' for him iyswim, although not prem. But that#s by the by).
