HG Sufferers

Does anyone else have or had HG? I'm on two lots of meds which are helping and letting me keep down fluids and small snacks. Have lost over 2 stone. Been in hospital for severe dehydration. I just feel absolutely miserable and I'm only 15 weeks. Did anyone diagnosed with it get better before the end of the pregnancy? I have a two year old and I'm really struggling some days. My partner is amazing but works very long hours. Sorry, think I just needed to vent. I had so many plans today and all I've managed to do is sit on the couch with my daughter and let her watch cartoons.

Hey I hope your feeling better, this is my 3rd hg pregnancy, I'm only 8 weeks and got out of hospital last night due to being dehydrated (2nd time in 2 weeks) I've also got a 2 and 4 year old to look after.. Its so awful. With my other pregnancy's I found it got better just after 15/16weeks.. So just hang in there xx

@Aachoo I really feel for you. I've been going through it myself and from week 5 to week 20 was the worst for me. Just non stop vomiting and nausea and Multiple hospital visits for iv fluids and iv meds etc as I couldn't even keep water down. I was going in 3 to 4 times a week until I got steroids at 12 weeks that kept me out of hospital. From weeks 12-20 I was on steroids as medication alone wasnt stopping the vomiting and weight was just dropping off me. May be an idea to ask for steroids if your really struggling. At 20 weeks the medication did work without steroids and kept the vomiting away and I finally managed to be completely medication free at 32 weeks. I'm now 35 weeks and had to take a few meds when I was feeling really rough but now I'm finally just about back to feeling mostly normal. I still get days of nausea but haven't vomited since week 20.
I hope you start to feel better soon. HG is so awful.
