Hey, long story short been getting faint positives all week, and this cheap one I took on Friday was the deepest line, I then took a clear blue this morning and it says not pregnant. I'm not due on till tomorrow, could this be a factor?
It has happened to me before but way after my period was due. That ended up as a chemical, has anyone else has this before period was due? Xx

I can definitely see a line there.... Unusual for a clear blue to miss it though.... You could ask gp for a blood test if you don't come on any time soon to confirm x

anjahaa · 23/02/2020 11:59

The clear blue digital didn't confirm my pregnancy until I was 5 days late whereas I was getting faint positives from tesco cheap tests from 3 days late. I'm 9 weeks now :)

This happened to me I had 2 positive with First Response and then two negative clear blue a few days apart and then waited 2 days and done another clear blue first thing in the morning and said pregnant. They are not as sensitive as FIrst response unless it is the clear blue early detection one. Good luck xx

Darkstar4855 · 23/02/2020 13:53

Clear Blue are less sensitive so often won’t show a positive until your period is late.

BuffaloCauliflower · 23/02/2020 14:25

As others have said, the Clearblue is much less sensitive than the FRER, so less likely to give you an early positive. The FRER definitely looks positive and is meant to pick up hormones earlier. Congrats!

Hi! I was exactly the same as you! I took a first response and have 2 pink lines so obviously super excited! I tried the digital straight after and it said not pregnant - I was so confused! After some research, it seems it does take a few days (1 or two,at least for me) for the digital to work!! I kept taking cheapies for the few days in between just to make sure I wasn't going crazy! Hope this helps!! Smile

This is how my FRER looked when Clearblue digital will say not pregnant. I'm 30 weeks now.

I agree with the others, CB is less sensitive.

@R2D2abc was these test taken before your period was due or late? I've not took one this morning Guna give it a few days, due on today and still nothing xxxx

My test was taken one day after period was due, I have a 30 days cycle.

albiemum · 24/02/2020 15:12

Just took an ovulating test to see if that picks up anything, can they pick up HGC? Xxx

Yes ovulation strips pick up hcg.

albiemum · 25/02/2020 10:02

Had blood tests and my HGC levels only at 63 so it's positive but needs repeating in a week to see if it's rising xxxx
