Rapid baby movements

Hi I’m 25 weeks pregnant and I have just been woken up the baby moving around like crazy! This has never happened before... I often feel the baby movements but they were thrashing around for about 5-10 minutes making me really panicked, and then calmed down. All the advice online says decreased movement is a concern but no one really mentions increased 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t want to call and be told I’m worrying over nothing!

I get the same every now and then. Almost like a shaking. Midwife says active baby is happy baby. 🤷‍♀️ I’m 34 weeks now and he currently having a dance in there

OK so around this time for me, the baby did start moving LOTS - i think it's a strength/size thing. When i mentioned it to my midwife she wanted me to have monitoring (apparently its not just decreased movements they worry about, but changes in patterns) so i did and DD was absolutely fine. More movement/more intense movement i think it quite normal the further along you get, but I'd check with your midwife to get peace of mind.

Any change in movement patterns should be Investigated. I’d call midwife and go I for monitoring just to be on the safe side.

Yeah that is true any change in movements reduced or more than normal should be checked. Id phone just to be safe.
