Early pregnancy worries!

First time pregnant and around 10 weeks now. Had an early private scan at 9 weeks but Sonographers said was more like 8 - this probably fits as have quite long cycles. Heard the heartbeat and saw a heartbeat also- said looked normal and fine for the stage.

Had my first midwife appointment which was all okay expect slightly (very) high platelets on bloods which doctor was worried about just re testing next week.

I'm totally panicking basically all the time about miscarrying- have had a very small amount of spotting 3 times - literally tiny amounts and mainly after going to the toilet (too much info but have been really constipated- It's never for more than a minute and not heavy at all but I'm so paranoid.
I've previously had cervical ectropian which caused bleeding after sex and some other times too- this was treated just with being frozen and haven't had any signs since but was a couple of years ago- wondering if this could be the cause. Only having IBS pains really which I'm used to and no period type cramps or anything.

Is it normal to be this worried?!
My NHS scan is 11 days away.

I had horrible cramps and some spotting from 5-11 weeks, midwife and EPU told me it was normal and only to worry if there was red blood, enough to fill a pad.

I'm now almost 19 weeks :)

Early pregnancy worries are really normal. My anxiety was sky high! I had loads of spotting - everyday from 4.5 to 8 weeks. The drs were never worried about it and I had a couple early scans which showed everything was ok. As long as it doesn’t progress to fresh bleeding accompanied by cramping then try not to worry.

It does get easier, I relaxed more after 12 weeks. I’m now 22 weeks and feel my little boy move a lot which really reassures me.

Hope this helps. Remember the odds of a successful pregnancy are now very much in your favour.
