I'm in my second trimester now 14+4 weeks and last night in bed my legs were quite achy and I couldn't get comfy which resulted in a bit of a broken night's sleep. Anyone else have this and is it normal please?

I had this, recommend a sports drink like lucozade or an electrolyte tablet half an hour before bed

Maybe get a blood test to check for anaemia. Achy legs can be a symptom.

@Bellsx hi, I had aching legs all the way through my first pregnancy it was so bad my muscles cramped for days.. I got some acupuncture throughout after midwife says it was safe which helped greatly.. currently 9wks pregnant and again achy legs!

@LilMrsS thank you for your response it's putting my mind at ease that it's just a general pregnancy symptom and hopefully nothing too much to worry about but I will still mention it to my midwife.

Im 16+1 and my legs are horrendously achey and sore.

I have developed pitting odema over the last 24 hours and protine in my urine... but my blood pressure is fine (saw midwife today)

Currently in bed with legs raised on pillows with a cold flannel on each leg... its easing the discomfort a little, worth a try?
