Boobs red at 27 weeks

Anyone else got this?

For a few weeks now, They’re red where my bra has been - almost like mild sunburn. Not hot or painful but itchy at times. Haven’t changed my washing powder and it doesn’t matter what bra I wear.

Any ideas? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Have you been measured recently? I went up 2 sizes by 25 weeks. Mine are dark brown but not red. They do itch and get dry so I use oil/moisturiser. They are definitely more sensitive. Maybe go braless if at home?

Your skin gets more sensitive in pregnancy. Have you looked at stretchy crop top type bras? Something a bit softer.

Thanks both. I haven’t been measured lately and my boobs have grown substantially but my bras do seem to fit. I didn’t have this with my previous two (last one 11 years ago, though). Will get measured and look at some different bras.

Is it both or just one breast? Don’t want to alarm you but I would get it checked with doctor as a very rare form of cancer can present as red rashes on the breast (but usually it’s just one). Most likely bra rubbing but best to be sure x

It’s both boobs. It’s quite weird - it’s like a pink bra! 🤔
