Bleeding and pregnant at 4 and a half weeks. How likely is it not going to be a miscarriage?

I started cramps and bleeding last night but it's not that heavy. I'v already been to the Doctors this morning and they can't determine if it's miscarriage for sure until I'm 5 weeks or more when they can scan. They said that some women can bleed throughout the stages of pregnancy and still have healthy babies so I just wanted to gage if many others have had this issue?

I had cramps from the start of my pregnancy around 4.5 weeks, these carried on until about 8 weeks and then I had a confirmed missed miscarriage at 8.5 weeks. Unfortunately the fetus hadn’t grown past 5 weeks, I didn’t bleed but had a blood clot in the toilet. I would try and get yourself an appointment at the early pregnancy ward and they should be able to scan you from 5/6 weeks. Fingers crossed everything goes ok for you, I know how worrying and emotional it can be
