Brown stringy stuff - 36 weeks

Hi All

A bit gross, but this morning I had some brown stringy like stuff when I wiped after going to the loo. Is this something to do with loosing the plug? There was no mucous looking stuff to go along with it. Im 36 weeks pregnant.

Any insight/experience welcome!

@Letsallscreamatthesistene - didn’t want to read and run. If it’s brown, could be old blood with CM.
Have you called the MAU?

The mucus plug starts to come away in bits and can look like brown stringy stretchy stuff.it doesn't look like snotty mucous IYSWIM as its coloured (there are images online). I started losing mine from about 34 weeks you can loose bits and it can re grow. It would make sense it may start to disintegrate now. If its stretchy stringy stuff I would think is the plug.
