Hi everyone,

I'm really newly pregnant (4wks 2 days) and I'm suffering really badly with cramps - I've never ever had cramps in my whole life - also I'm really having weird stabbing like stitch pains all over my body...anyone else had this?

Bareable cramps are normal. If you are worried get checked out at the doctor, particularly if you have shoulder tip pain as this can be related to ectopic pregnancy.

I’m 5 weeks pregnant, and have “bareable” cramping, throughout the day. I’m high risk due to numerous previous MC, so have spoke to EPAU and they said this is “normal” but it it gets worse or I start bleeding, or like PP said if I get shoulder pain to go and see them. I have a scan booked on the NHS at 6 weeks.

I’m 6+1 and I’ve had some light cramping and some weird stabbing type pains in my tummy - both sides over the last couple of weeks but nothing that I would describe as painful, I think it might be the uterus stretching?
If you’re in pain I would go to the GP just to check, pain in any situation isn’t really normal so it’s best to get checked out.

Thanks everyone. The stitch pains was just wind BlushGrin(embarrassing) I should have know because I've had the same pain before!

Cramps are bearable just so strange as I've never had them! What do you use to help ease them? My GP said a hot water bottle but is that safe this early on?
