Hey guys!

6 weeks pregnant with second child. I vaguely remember this from my first pregnancy. But I'm always exhausted in the day. Drop off to sleep fine but seem to find myself waking between 3-6 feeling restless and unable to go back to sleep. Currently wrapped up on the sofa with warm milk hoping to drop off soon. Tried relaxing music but occasionally a piece of music my brain doesn't like starts playing and I'm back to square one.

Any remedies? I do have lush sleepy cream which I swore by at the end of my pregnancy but don't know why I haven't tried that yet!! 😂

I like to listen to sleep stories on the calm app. There's one that's read by Stephen Fry which is free or if like me you find tennis incredibly boring listen to John McEnroe story!
Good luck!

No remedies but just to say I sympathise! I’m 7weeks and woke up at 4am today, have also been wrapped up on the sofa but now have to get moving for work. I’m wide awake now. It give it a few hours and I’ll be desperate for sleep again. Hoping it’ll stop for us both soon!

I went through the same when I first found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. I would wake up very early early, unable to go back to sleep. To me i think it was the excitement of finding out. It gradually got better and now at 9 weeks I wake up at a normal time. However I don't sleep great and get up 3 times in the night to go to the toilet.
