I'm due the 19th of September.... I actually don't know the date of last period but know exactly day of conception.... I took a morning after pill (please don't judge) so the window is pretty small now this baby is very much wanted and all I keep worrying about is what if I go to the scan and it's gone..... The symptoms I had early on have gone slight sickness.. metallic nasty taste in mouth..sore boobs..... Nothing it's gone I'm hoping this is just a sign I may have a easy pregnancy......
Feels like a lifetime to wait 12th March for a scan x

LilMrsS · 23/02/2020 16:45

@newlymarried2019
Congrats.. yip my symptoms come and go I had extreme dizzy spells that came on instantly for 4 days then went. My sickness has passed at the moment now but tiredness, moody and cramps are still there I think it's just different waves of hormones coming and going but all in all seems normal. I'm 9+2 now had a scan at 7+2 all good so far.

Fingerscrossed11 · 23/02/2020 19:02

@mamablondie
I’m 9 weeks and 4 days

MotherAughra · 23/02/2020 19:17

Evening all,
I'm due #2 on the 28th September,
9 weeks today
I had 8 months of sickness with DD!
So far the sickness hasn't been as relentless, I did have four days where I couldn't keep down a thing, but now it's just all day nausea. Anyone found anything that particularly helps?

We had an early scan with the NHS due to my history just over a week ago where we saw the little beans heartbeat
Still doesn't quite feel real yet, although I'm huge already! Can't fit in any of my jeans Blush

@MotherAughra
Aw congrats.. I did find two ginger nut biscuits with a cup of green tea helped me with my sickness it kicked in quick. Now I only get sickness when I have the headaches which I'm prone to so no avoiding them.
I'm the same have very limited clothing atm but won't buy anything until after 12wks so a few more weeks of the same leggings!

MotherAughra · 24/02/2020 03:41

Thanks @LilMrsS I will pick some up and give them a try tomorrow!

Don't expect anyone else to be up, but just incase!

We forgot to turn the heating off last night so I woke up an hour ago boiling, now really nauseous and been sick, so just sat in the dark feeling sorry for my self Sad might head down soon and see if there's anything on Netflix that can send me back to sleep

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 07:20

@MotherAughra oh god that's sounds annoying for u.. ye bit of Netflix try open a window some fresh air. Maternity leave should start from when you get pregnant ha all these sleepless nights already

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 08:22

Woke up and it's still not middle of march!! Aaarrrggghhhh this is nuts can anyone else function fully? cause I'm worn out like an hour after wakening up thinking about if everything's okay and convincing myself I've got a good chance of positive scan...

LRM31 · 24/02/2020 13:04

Hi everyone!

I'm 10wks pregnant with my first, due 18th Sep - I think!! Been quite nauseous for about a month now and I'm sick if I don't eat as soon as I wake up and my headaches are awful but consider myself lucky compared to some other poor ladies I know who have really suffered with the sickness.

According to my LMP my midwife said I should have been due 5th Sep, so had my 12 week scan on Friday thinking I was 11+6 but they said I wasn't that far along so I've got to go back for the scan and tests again - OH wasn't best pleased after taking the day off work for it. Can't figure out why the dates were so far out though!? She said the date could change again at the new scan, it's so confusing.

Anyway all that matters is baby is ok and we saw the heartbeat etc, but I thought my first trimester was finally over :(

Sk191 · 24/02/2020 13:16

@LilMrsS that's how I feel. I'm exhausted when I wake up and I go to bed at 9.30 at the minute. I'm leaving myself 30 minutes to get ready for work as I physically can't wake up any sooner. I'm 12 weeks now so hoping this rush of energy people talk about in their 2nd trimester hits me soon!

LittleCashew1 · 24/02/2020 13:17

Congratulations😘 im 11weeks +4 days and due on September 10th! Im beyond excited.. apart from the sickness!🤦‍♀️ i can't wait to start buying things!!!

Sk191 · 24/02/2020 13:29

@LittleCashew1 I'm due 4 days before you and have already started 🙈🙈

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 13:39

@sk191 I know everything comes to a stop with me ha well long as baby's growing and healthy il take the consequences!

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 14:13

Caved and booked another private scan! Can't handle waiting until middle March.. so end of week 🤞

Santasshock · 24/02/2020 14:33

Anyone else an older mum?. I'm 38, 39 in june. Currently 10 weeks 3 days due 18th sept.
Unexpected christmas gift !!!. Thought my baby days were over. Got a son at 10 will be 11 when bump arrives. And 2 step sons 21 and 12.
I've compleatly forgotten my 1st pregnancy, but I'm sure I wasnt this tired with as many pregnancy simptoms. Thinking its age related but really hoping it's a sign of a little pink bundle to even, out the no's a little lol.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 24/02/2020 17:47

I’m 25 (nearly 26) @Santasshock. I was 19 with my first though so it’s been a while since I’ve been pregnant. Already feel like I’m showing but my tummy was by no means flat before so might just be podge. Grin

Fingerscrossed11 · 24/02/2020 18:19

@Santasshock
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
I’m also an ‘older’ mum, don’t feel like it but seems over 35 these days is old for being pregnant Hmm
I will be 40 this year, not long before my due date in September.
I just feel as though I’ve put on lots weight, clothes very snug, little bit of nausea, not too much and tiredness.
Do you have an appointment for first scan yet?

Spark27 · 24/02/2020 18:28

@LilMrsS I'm with you on needed maternity leave to start now. I'm only 9w, with EDD of 29th Sep, and the 1st tri feels like it's really dragging. Got to wait til 19th March for my scan. Soooooo long. I would be tempted to book an early one, but annoyingly all the Groupon deals don't cover the places near me.

Been signed off for 2 weeks with really bad nausea. I don't remember anything like this with my DD. Maybe having a toddler to look after as well is putting the extra strain on me. I'm constantly tired, but also waking at 0300 for a few hours.

LuckyWright · 24/02/2020 18:30

I'm due September too! 22nd Sep due date going by last period. '12 week' scan on 16th March and we can't wait!
Had a scan at 8 + 4 and all was good! So that reassured me :)
Congratulations everyone!!

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 18:49

@Spark27 I know it's not cheap were 70 each time but my anxiety through the roof just now and finding it hard to focus on work and home life so if another private scan helps il just have to budget for it.
Hope you get some rest if you've been given time off work that's something at least.
Ye each pregnancy different isn't it I had a great first pregnancy and labour but that was 10yrs ago and this time I'm exhausted but much like you wake 3 times to per then too hot or uncomfortable in bed. Lots of.power naps on sofa ha

Fingerscrossed11 · 24/02/2020 20:12

Is anyone else incredibly hungry? Never used to have that much of an appetite but now short period after eating something, even a meal, I’m hungry again. Stomach rumbling hungry.

MrsA2015 · 24/02/2020 20:36

Hi all, due on the 8th sept. Currently feeling sorry for myself as I’ve managed to really hurt my throat vomiting earlier , can’t even swallow saliva such a horrible feeling does all the way down my oesophagus Sad

LilMrsS · 24/02/2020 21:28

@Fingerscrossed11

Oh yes! And the hunger is like strong where I feel faint even though I just ate a meal like 20min prior?? Hard when your working to make time for small meals/snacking every hour or two as recommended just going to try stock up on snacks everywhere I go. Trying to keep this from people is hard at this stage always hungry tired and bloated ha

Fingerscrossed11 · 24/02/2020 22:00

@LilMrsS
Glad I’m not the only one Smile in the nicest way possible.
I’ve been taking snacks to work, maybe we should try some slow release carbs. I’ve been told that helps but not tried yet. Had pasta around an hour ago and actually feel like I’ve not eaten since breakfast Shock
I’ve not told anyone either but getting a little paranoid that it’s maybe more noticeable than I let myself believe.

Tiatorres · 24/02/2020 22:19

As there are so many groups flying around I’d thought I’d add one that I’ve been searching for and that’s looking for local mums due in the Autumn to share this experience with maybe meet some one having their baby nearby or at the same hospital who knows feel free to join in even you’re out of London.
