Hi All,
Sorry if this has been asked or is posted in the wrong place...

Now that Mothercare has been closed down, what other shops are there to get baby/mother things?
I know a lot of the supermarkets do stuff now, and there's Amazon etc, but I was after an actual shop?
Thanks

Try Mamas and papas. I'm also looking for somewhere that's all I've found so far

John lewis, boots there isnt much at all,id say do most of it online as there isnt anywhere to really go.

Smyths toystores, IKEA, Halfords for car seats. If they have them in your area, little pickles markets are fantastic for second hand bargains.

Thanks!
Has anyone found/know of a shop that sell reusuable nappies, so I could look at them before buying?

Just to let you know boots has taken on mothercare now and I think its online shop might be open but worth checking x

Sainsbury's and Boots sell Bambino Mios (and of course Aldi when they have their baby and toddler events), but you don't really get the reusables in shops - you might see some at baby 'fairs'.

To be honest though you will be better off finding your local nappy library before you buy any. Not only will they have a range of brands and styles, but you'll be able to hire a kit once baby is born so that you can work out which nappies work best for both your babies shape and your lifestyle.

Oh and buying second hand is way cheaper (and more environmentally friendly) - there's lots of groups on Facebook.

Aldi, Morrisons and sainsburys occasionally have bambino mio nappies in, but I don't rate them too highly to be honest. Take a look at the nappy lady website. She has a questionnaire you can fill in to help decide which ones would suit you, they also have hire kits.

You can get some good random little bits in TK Maxx clothing wise and also for packs of things like muslins

Boots now sell tots bots apparently

Boots have started selling reusable nappies recently but there are lots of online retailers who stock a huge variety so I’d recommend websites such as nappy lady and fill your pants.

Actual shops for baby products - John Lewis, Mamas and Papas, Ikea and Boots.

I did most of my baby shopping in John Lewis. I don't think it was much more expensive than Mothercare.

For pushchairs I went to Kiddicare which has now become part of Dunelm Mill. Only the larger stores have the pushchair range though.
