Cleaning Second hand prams

I just picked up an almost immaculate silver cross pram. I really wanted to wash the liner and mattress cover but they say hand wash only but I'm tempted to bung them in the wash at 30. Has anyone machine washed this kind of stuff successfully?

I do all handwashing in the machine these days at cold or 30.

Short cycle,delicates if you haven't got a specific hand wash cycle.

I put mines in the washing machine at 30 degrees for delicates, the lowest spin. Then I just put them to dry and put some towels underneath to collect the water that might fall from them. It looks like new now.

Perhaps if you’re wary about washing in the machine, soaking in the bath with a sterilising tablet would be an alternative?
