I am five days late on my period and usually that isn’t the case plus a week before my period was due I had a small spot of blood probably the size of a dime and then a light pink discharge for a few hours after and that was it this was almkst two weeks ago now and I’m wondering if I should go get a test or not because I tested it two days after the spotting but it was negative.

It might have been implantation bleeding and you wouldn’t get a positive 2 days after that, it takes a few more days. Now you’re 5 days late you will definitely get a positive test if you are pregnant

What if I got a negative now given I took it middle day and not morning could I still get a positive test if I take it right away or am I just paranoid?

Yes, it is possible to test negative in the very early days. It all depends how quickly your hormone levels are rising the sensitivity of the test, and gohow concentrated the your wee.

By about 5 days late I'd expect a test to be reliable st any time of day, but to be sure I'd test again at 7 days

Definitely get a test.

@Starfire99 seeing as your 5 days late, if you took a test in the middle of the day it would still come up positive if you were pregnant. If you’re still worried, buy a cheap test and test again with your first morning urine
