Signs of a miscarriage?

Hi everyone

I'm currently about 6 weeks pregnant

I've been having cramps the past few days and just went to the loo and had pink/brown and a little string of discharge when I wiped.

I'm not really sure what to expect if I am having a miscarriage.

I have my gp appointment on Monday to get me my first midwife appointment booked in.

Any advice would be helpful x

Ah it's such a daunting time - the good news is this could be completely normal for you, the bad news is it's just too early to tell. Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes and I don't think your gonna get the answers your looking for on mumsnet. Unfortunately it is now a waiting game to see what the GP says on Monday. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you

I found out I am pregnant on 23rd jan and had spotting (ranging from red to brown to pink) for last 3 weeks on and off. Went for scan yesterday hoping for confirmation one way or the other. The scan showed I am measuring 2 weeks smaller than I expected but there was a heartbeat! But my dates aren't wrong for last period so I'm confused and still worried! It did however reassure me that spotting can happen and be ok! So hopefully you can take something positive from that! X
