Hi all!

This is my first post on a forum, just wanted some other opinions. I’m 11 weeks pregnant and a few days ago I started spotting dark brown blood. Not enough to soak a pad and no clots but it’s been on and off for a few days. I had a scan this morning and everything looked good and they were not worried. Now I’m back at work but still spotting, I know I’ve just seen a healthy scan but I can’t help but still worry! I don’t know if there is any way this could still be the start of something bad even though I’ve just been told everything is ok? So confused Confused

I had an early scan at 8 weeks and I had some bleeding that day and for a few days after. I’m currently 22 weeks and everything is looking good with baby.
I know it’s hard not to worry, but just keep an eye on it and call the hospital if it gets worse or you have any other symptoms, cramps, heavier bleeding etc. Flowers

Spotting is so common in pregnancy. Doesnt stop it being worrying though! Try not to worry (although easier said than done), and go to get checked out if it gets really heavy and theres acute pain

Unfortunately it could be something but also nothing! Spotting is totally normal and also a sign of something more sinister! Googling and stuff will only give you conflicting views!

If you are in any way concerned just pop into your EPU/emergency gyne unit (whatever you have). Spotting/cramping means they will see you same day!

Hope everything’s ok xx

Thank you so much, all! There's no pain whatsoever which is a good sign I guess. The lady at the early pregnancy clinic said there was no reason I should be spotting and everything looks fine. I just can't help feeling out of control!

I had some bleeding with both pregnancies and have two healthy children to show for it. I have a friend who bled every day of her pregnancy so it can be normal.

If it continues they will may do more regular scans.
