Glucose Test when pregnant

I'm having a glucose test this morning. I haven't ate since 10pm last night as instructed, only drank water. But this morning I took paracetamol. I told the nurse that took my first set of bloods and she sort of said well it should be OK since the paracetamol wasn't coated in sugar.

I feel stupid for taking them but also annoyed that the letter didn't mention anything about not taking medication. I'm annoyed that I may have to redo the test which is a but difficult with my 3 year and I'm hangry!

Anyway has anyone done this? And it didn't affect the results?

You’ll be fine, I was told I could still take my medication before the test. I’m on 2x anti-sickness for HG. So paracetamol will be a’ok!

Well I didn't get a call so looks like the test was OK and I've not got diabetes. Thanks ladies
