Hi Ladies,
I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant, I had brown spotting at 6 and 10 weeks never lasted more than a day and was after constipation so midwife put it down to that. Had a scan at 8 weeks and 12 and all was fine with baby. Last week I started to get spotting on and off all week then sunday morning I got a heavy gush of red blood, called 111 and was directed to a and e. By the time I got seen the bleeding had stopped and my cervix was closed so a scan was booked for Wednesday and I was sent home and the bleeding had gone back to spotting. Monday was still spotting until I got a sudden gush again of red blood and this time it filled a few pads, went back to epu had another exam and cervix was closed but was still actively bleeding so they sent me for a scan. Scan showed that baby was fine and the bleeding was not from around the baby or placenta and I was told I was bleeding for unknown causes. Yesterday I had barely any spotting but now this morning woke up again with another gush of blood and again quite a lot of it. Not sure who to contact to investigate why this is happening? Does anyone have any past experience with this? I know the baby is ok but its still causing anxiety and I would like to find out why this is happening.
