Needing to pee all the time

I’m 29 weeks and need the loo so much more than I used to pre-pregnancy. I’d say I need to go every hour or so - and I don’t even drink that much! Luckily I’ve only been getting up once in the night though.

Is this normal?

Yeah, I’m at least once an hour and up several times in the night too!

My first pregnancy I didn't need to pee much more than normal, and people found that bizarre! DD was very high up, crushing my lungs instead. Then with DS I had to pee all the time. ALL the time. He was low down, and loved kicking my bladder. So with her I couldn't breathe and with him I couldn't go longer than a couple of hours without going to the toilet. In the night I was oddly okay, though.

I think it's fairly normal OP, but check with your MW next time you see her if you're concerned. Your baby is probably low down and likes sleeping on your bladder! Good luck and congrats Flowers

You're fine, OP. I get up to pee every 2 hours during the night. And sometimes during the day I go a couple of times per hour, it's bizzare but normal.

Yep totally normal, probably five times a night in my last pregnancy.

Glad to hear it’s normal - very annoying though!

Only gets worse 😫 I’m 36 weeks & the minute I stand up from sitting, I’m desperate for a wee! Baby is just sat right on your bladder unfortunately!

Worth getting checked by the midwife though! I thought that I was just peeing loads but turns out I had a UTI!!
