Potassium in the banana which you need!! Oh and if you get heartburn - orange Rennie's. Other flavours never worked!!

Argh I had this, and it's right bloody annoying! I found hanging my feet out of the bed to keep them cool helped.

I was recommended this and it worked a treat. Amazon sell it and some health shops too if you have one near you. I feel your pain, it was one of the worst pregnancy symptoms for me!

I used to get this and if I took one or two sachets of Spatone (iron sachets) in a glass of orange juice it used to help.

Oh my I hate restless leg syndrome! I had it worst around 30 weeks (just in time for Christmas) and had to go for walks in the middle of the night. It's my feet and ankles.

I think mine may have just got a bit better just because - I tried iron even though I wasn't anaemic, magnesium spray and bath, bananas, exercise, compression socks. The one that seemed to do the most was some weetabix with a banana chopped in it late at night - though it may have just been the placebo - and cuddling a hot water bottle, I think mainly for the relaxation. I am not usually cold enough at bedtime so have to deliberately walk round for a few minutes getting cold sometimes! I also put cold moisturiser on my feet, a nice different sensation.

When it was at its worst I do remember that the ankle support we'd had from some injury seemed to help, but then it stopped working.

Hope it eases for you ; it's so infuriating!
