I’ve had awful nausea since 4 weeks pregnant so the last 10 weeks now on and off. I haven’t actually been sick that much probably about 4 times.

Last night I felt so ill, it came on out of nowhere and since then I’ve been sick 6 times, and I’m now just throwing up bile as I have no food on my stomach. I’m really worried as this isn’t normal for me and food just comes back up and so does water.

should I ring a GP? Or wait for it to pass? I feel so Ill

I had this with my second pregnancy, and my husband insisted on calling the hospital and taking me in (despite my protests 'it's a bug! They won't want me in!') it ended up being an infection that was quite bad and I was severely dehydrated and admitted while they tried to rehydrate me and identify the cause. Call your MLU x

I had this once in my first trimester. I was sick 11 times that day (the norm for me had been 1-3 times a day so 11 times was extreme).

It only lasted one day though which makes me think I must have had an upset stomach.

I phoned NHS 24 and they said not to worry unless I start vomiting blood, or it lasts more than a day. Neither of which happened and I was fine, but it's always worth speaking to someone.

If you can't keep water down id go to hospital. This happened to me and I was injected to rehydrate me
