Baby stops or doesn't move when I talk to him?

Whenever my oh talks to my baby he will move no problem, but If I try he either stops moving or just does not move at all, lol am overthibking it probs but is it cause he doesn't like my voice??

Lol it won't be because he doesn't like your voice it's more likely because he finds it comforting! It's the voice he's heard the most 🥰 your baby will want to be close to you when he's born because you are all he will know ❤️

My daughter used to do this in the womb! She was quite the kicker, and one day I realised she would go quiet when I read books to her brother. I had many nights when I lay in bed and read aloud to myself because she was nearly killing me with the kicking. Luckily, my husband is a very sound sleeper.

It’s probably quite a different sound and set of sensations for the baby to hear an external voice in comparison to a voice coming from inside the body they are inhabiting. Probably to do with vibrations and things. Your voice might sound louder or cause a slight tremor in the fluid which baby responds to differently.

Not science, just a theory. But I certainly don’t think the baby knows how to express it’s displeasure at any particular persons voice just yet.
