Bleeding early pregnancy

Hey.. I found out I was pregnant about 6 weeks ago.. my dates worked out I was 8 weeks would now be 10.. but I went for a early scan as was bleeding when wiping they said I was about 5 weeks I dont get it? They said there was 2 sacs but empty they said I could be to early to see the baby yet? And they said second sac could just be a blood sac what does that mean? I got to go back Thursday 20th that would give it 2 weeks so they can see what's going on? This has been torture.. last 3days been bleeding again more than what I done before.. got 3 children never had this before.. got no pains or nothing.. still tired sore boobs and very emotional.. has any1 had this before? Or going through this?

Are you sure of your dates?
If yes then it does sounds like the beginning of a MC but otherwise some women also bleed in pregnancy and everything is fine and your dates aren’t accurate...

We only sleep together on xmas day so it was only the once.. we r usually very carful but we both had a drink.. xx

If it helps our accident happened in the 1st week of jan, I had a 5 day bright red heavy bleed 19-24 Jan then went to the docs at end of Jan with back pain, sickness and increased urination (thought I had a kidney infection) only to be told I was pregnant...had an early scan the next day but was warned due to my heavy bleed there might be nothing but they found the gestational sac with the yolk and fetal pole but as of then no heartbeat which was apparently normal for 5-6 weeks (from LMP) I'm 8 weeks now and waiting for my 12 week scan and hoping for the best. I've got 3 children already and I've NEVER bled like that with any of them but my hcg levels doubled as they should after the scan so wanted to say bleeding doesn't necessarily mean the end. Also the egg may have been fertilised as late as a week after you had sex as sperm can survive that long so does that make the dates you were given based on size at the scan possible?

Thank you that really helped just hoping for the best we didt want no more but now its happend I really want it.. I hope everything goes well for u.. yeah they did say that to me that the sperm can stay alive so maybe that's what happend I dont no all I can do its pray everything is ok.. thank you x
