Don't think i am pregnant at the moment (making myself wait to test as AF due in a few days) but am having weird period pains which i never get, feeling generally peculiar and really heavy in the tummy - can't really explain it! Anyway was complaining to my mum about it and she said that's just how she felt when pregnant with my sister - just got me wondering if pregnancy feels similar in onset etc each time you experience it? Me and dp would like another so would be interesting to hear your experiences. Ta

both mine have been exactly the same so far and not in a good way! so i'm suspecting another boy.

But lots of people have different experiences so anythings possible. Hope it's the outcome your hoping for

mumbleboo, I'm here with you.
Having funny metalic taste in mouth and slightly nauseous. never had any symptoms with DS.
But i'm only 3 days late, so maybe all in my head......

ConnorTraceptive · 04/09/2007 12:04

by the way the heavy feeling in the stomach is always a very definate symptom for me almost like a dragging feeling

friendlyedjit · 04/09/2007 12:06

always feel instantly nauseated and have incredibly blocked nasal passages but strangely enough heightened sense of smell which is ridiculous. Often catch myself saying urghh what is that smell wrinkling my face whilst everyone else says what smell!!
then thinking oops they're going to guess!

friendlyedjit · 04/09/2007 12:08

oh and excess salivation, acid and burping!! fortunately botom end seems ok!

mumbleboo · 04/09/2007 12:12

dragging describes it exactly, like i'm carrying a stone around in my stomach. really want to test now but think i might be very disappointed. but then if you're expecting it your AF just doesn't show sometimes IYKWIM

oh god friendly the excess saliva is just awful, i have to carry a beaker around with me as i can't swallow it!

I'm averaging over a pint a day

If you'r not late I wouldn't test yet, i always wait atleast a week after i'm due.

mumbleboo · 04/09/2007 12:17

Thing is once you know the pregnancy symptoms you can so easily imagine you have them all!

I'm a few weeks pg at the mo and it is SO completely different to my pregnancy with DD that I can't really believe I'm pregnant. Last time I had really sore boobs, nausea etc, this time NOTHING!

slim22 · 05/09/2007 01:35

yes excess saliva and dragging feeling/heavy womb, also had that very early on with DS.
