Constant Nausea. Any advice?

Hi all,
I'm only about 7 weeks pregnant (meeting midwife this week) but the nausea has well and truly hit me. I have a phobia of being sick so it's not the best to start with. I just need some advice to get a break from it because it's just not letting up. I'm struggling to eat because it makes the nausea worse (even dry toast).
I've tried plain biscuits, drinking plenty of water and eating little and often. I've been advised to take ginger but I'm not a lover of it to begin with.
Do you have any advice or tips for what helped you with the nausea?

Thanks.

Rather than bland foods, I find foods that have a stronger taste help me.
Sallt & Vinegar crisps & lemon sherbert sweets are my go to's.

I second salt and vinegar crisps!

I was literally the same as you, I also have a fear of being sick so I was waking up with dread every day.

I find as soon as I wake up if I ate some crisps it really helped, and other than that I just ate bland food, like chips, waffles etc as I couldn’t stomach anything else.

I know it’s not the best but a glass of fizzy pop seemed to help me as well for some reason.

Hope you feel better soon, it is awful feeling so sick constantly ! X

The only thing that really helped me was sucking on mints. I could only eat bland foods as well such as ready salted crisps, chips, Rice Krispies and toast.

I've been struggling with this. Got some anti-sickness travel bands and they've helped massively. I also find fizzy orange helps a lot.

So I tried salt and vinegar crisps and they've worked miracles. For the first time in days the nausea has gone. Thank you for the suggestions!

The only thing that helped me was actually being sick

Hi

I know it's been said but for sure Salt and vinegar crisps would help me! And I wasn't a big fan before I was pregnant lol

Ice lollies worked absolute wonders for me, fruity ones like twisters or calippo's

I also found banana milkshake was good for my nausea and Diet Coke

Hope this helps 😊
