I am 9+4 weeks pregnant and I literally CAN NOT sleep and when I do i'm waking up all night, I know people talk about this later in pregnancy but has anyone experienced it so early on?

Yes, I got it early on and then it stopped for a bit and I’m 26 weeks now and can’t sleep again

Later on I tend to not sleep due to being uncomfortable or restless legs but I haven’t got that yet

Yes I had this, I'm 25 weeks now and it's mostly gone. I'm only awake now as I needed a wee!! I found having a little snack and a low cal hot chocolate helped send me back off to sleep!

Yes, I got this early on and it stopped for a bit. Now, It’s started up again and I seem to regularly wake up between 4.00 and 5.00am which is annoying! I wonder if baby is waking me up as I can feel movements Smile

Omg I feel your pain I had this terrible and I remember wondering how you get through it if it lasts 40 weeks! Luckily it doesn't! Mine stopped around 12 weeks and I slept like a baby for 6 weeks. I only struggled since then because I've got SPD and was in agony but I found a really good chiro who helped so I'm now 24 weeks and sleeping well again.

Just go with it and try not to stress about it, napa when u can and your body will snap out of it soon enough 👍

I didn’t have this on first trimester, I could easily sleep 16 hours a day!

I’m now 17 weeks and for the past fortnight I’ve been really struggling to sleep, waking every 2 hours.

Except tonight, when I’ve been awake since 2. Am then knackered all day, can’t wait to get to bed, only to be wide awake again! Bah!

Yep mine started about 7 weeks, nearly 15 weeks and still struggling. Getting a bit more sleep than I did though so hoping I'll start being able to sleep ok soon!

I'm 8 weeks and have had this since week 6 so far. Waking around 4am every night, some nights I can get immediately back to sleep after spending a penny, some nights I'm still awake when my alarm goes off for work at 6:15am. II find myself falling asleep on the sofa by 8:30pm and take myself off to bed then. I'm glad to hear from others experiences that it isn't continuous up to 40 weeks!
