Hello!
I'm currently 36 + 2 weeks I have recently been discharged from hospital two days ago as they thought I was possibly going into early labour (baby didn't decide to show yet thankfully) but I've been getting mild period type cramps that seem to be getting stronger and I've noticed my discharge has changed to this thick stringy bogey like texture and it's a lot more than my usual amount of discharge but I haven't noticed blood in it or anything could it be the start of my mucus plug or just regular pregnancy discharge?? Just wondering if I should contact the midwifes or not just yet any suggestions? Thanks Smile

Hi. I think it's prob the plug coming away.
With my daughter this happened for 3 weeks.
I'm now almost 36 weeks pregnant and it's started again for me 2 days ago.
I see my midwife Tuesday so will mention it but I'm not too concerned as when pregnant with my daughter no-one seemed too worried and I was told the plug can 're seal.. Grow back as such.

Yep I’d say so. Mine started coming away a few days before I went into labour. Hahaha I was obsessed with checking my knickers and wiping! Don’t Remember needing to contact midwife about it unless my waters broke and no contractions for a certain period of time though.

@Blueswede yeah normally you wouldn't have to they only asked me to contact as I have other complications and they'd prefer for my waters to break at hospital and not at home I'm being induced within the next two weeks anyway haha just wanted to see others opinions or if I was being paranoid
