Sciatica in Pregnancy

Hello,

I'm currently 11 weeks and for the last 2 weeks or so I've had shooting pains on my left buttock to my lower back. I'm not sure if it's pregnancy related but I'm struggling to cope with the pain. I'm reluctant to use any anti inflammatory gels as it says not to use whilst pregnant and want to hold off from going to the doctors unless it persists.

Any remedies or recommendations are welcomed? Xx

Are you constantly getting this? I'm 14 weeks and when i sit or stand in a certain position i get the same thing in the left buttock and it's painful but it only comes from time to time! I just gathered that it's pregnancy related and just get on with it but if it's bad all of the time i would certainly see a doctor. I've heard that heat helps!

I'm 14+3 and keep getting this down my left side too!
I've just put it down to another pregnancy related 'joy' and it's not really stopping me from doing anything at the minute so I've just been getting on with it.
I'd be interested to hear about any natural remedies though
