35 weeks and for the last day and a half I have had lots of wind and mucous. I feel like I need to go but only small amounts are coming out (soft not constipated). Today I am also getting what feel like diarrhoea cramps and like I suddenly need to rush to the toilet but when I do nothing happens and the cramps just gradually go away for a while. Any idea if this is normal or not?

Could you be bypassing? So blocked up?

I’m not sure but I don’t think so as up until now during pregnancy I have been going every 2/3 days. And went two days ago as normal with no straining etc?

I’m having poo issues at 35 weeks as well! When I go, it’s soft & normal but it’s really hard to get it out! It’s causing a lot of tummy ache & uncomfortableness!

I happened to have a GP appointment on Friday about something else & I mentioned it. She said it was very common at this point in pregnancy as baby is heavy & basically sat on & squashing your entire digestive system! It’s hard for everything to move on through..

That said, if it continues, worth a chat to your doc!

Look how squashed everything gets, pregnancy is bonkers!

Never been 35 weeks pregnant but this is what i get when i have haemorrhoids unfortunately. Perhaps you suffer from the condition? And there are swollen/ inflamed?
Constipation can make it worse...

I haven’t noticed anything externally. I’ve had no pain or itching and any slightly harder stool I’ve had, I’ve not strained - but then I guess it’s possible to still get them. Can they come on all of a sudden?

I have had them but only once what you described happened to me but i was in first trimester. It did happen out of nowhere... my GP was unhelpful!
I just bought a sitz off amazon and some medical grade salt and sat in a warm sitz for 20min once a day and it got better...
