You might find grey is better at hiding the muck etc. Moreover, you'll be using the pram for longer than summer. We used ours (suitable from newborn all the way to toddler) for 3 years in total.

In addition, go for ease of manoeuvrability, weight, nothing confusing to work with when trying to fold/collapse it with a wriggling baby under one arm and nothing that's got the potential to trap a finger in.

You also want plenty of storage space, something that won't tilt and flip over if you hang your bag off the handle, comfortable hand grip etc.

I would say go for all the practicalities over pink and girly Smile.

Hi OP. I’m due a summer baby too and like you I want a pretty little buggy.
I found this, practical and pretty but also pricey 🙄 I also liked the egg in blush which also has good reviews but the cybex is more compact when folded and folds with the seat attached. Xxx

Will you only be using it in the summer? Surely you’ll still be using it in the winter?

userabcname · 15/02/2020 17:28

Have you looker at Cosatto? Loads of bright colours and patterns to choose from. We have a Cosatto travel system and it's lovely - lightweight/easy to use and often get compliments on the design.

RhymingRabbit3 · 15/02/2020 17:31

Cosatto wish Golightly is very girly.

Yes I only say summer as that’s when she is due and this is my last baby and I’ve not had a girl for over 12 years so I’m dying to the whole pink stuff again lol x

Never knew there was such a thing as a 'summer pram'? Confused .Will you just buy another one for winter then?

GingerGingerGingerGinger · 15/02/2020 20:19

White leather? Emmaljunga do one like that.

Ohyesyoudid · 15/02/2020 20:22

What is your budget?

Caitlin2020 · 15/02/2020 22:27

I don’t mean just a summer pram that’s just when she is due I mean a nice light pink coloured pram I don’t really have a budget I will pay out for a good pram / buggy

If you have no budget the Silver Cross Balmoral or Kensington. They come in pink and are very much going to get you noticed if that’s what you want.

Ohyesyoudid · 16/02/2020 06:12

Bugaboo fox in soft pink
Stokke trailz in lotus pink
Cossatto wow in golightly 3
Venicci pure in rose

Have you seen the cosatto x Paloma faith? These will definitely get you noticed

My personal favourite is the cybex, so pretty yet practical.

Princessfaffalot · 16/02/2020 07:03

Stokke! I’ve had four and honestly my stokke xplory 1 was the best investment ever and they hold their value. Amazing to push around towns/cities and off road too. I used public transport a lot too and it was brilliant. I liked that baby was higher up out of the way of fumes and as toddlers they all enjoyed being high up and able to see everything! My favourite pram ever and I had uppa baby vista, Icandy, oyster, costatto, silver cross, maclaren, graco...pretty much every pram ever but none beat my stokke. You can get some lovely sets so you can change the patterns/colours/textile as much as you like.

CornishPasties · 16/02/2020 07:08

Honesty I wouldnt get a light coloured pram it will look shit after just a few uses and you will spend forever trying to keep it looking clean. Go for a dark pram and if you must have pink choose pink accessories such as a blanket or changing bag.

essexanon · 16/02/2020 10:46

@Ohyesyoudid I was all for the egg or the cybex spring blossom as I thought they were extremely pretty and practical and those were both must’s for me!

But you’ve just listed the Cosatto wow 3 in golighty and OH MY!! What a beauty!
Rose gold is my think so 1000 points for a buggy that is pretty, practical and has rose gold detailing.
I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner, the reviews are great too!
And kiddies kingdom is selling it for £399 including the carry cot and free car seat!
That’s like a quarter of what I was looking to spend!
This is how a serious contender for me and the saving of around £1200 is something I can’t ignore!!

Thank you!!!! Lol.
I am now going to send the link round to all my family and see if they approve.

(I’m sure they will for the saving alone as they all say i have expensive taste and this isn’t)

Xxx

essexanon · 16/02/2020 11:18

Pff that’s that option out, my sister hates the Cosatto 3 go lightly. Said it looks tacky. 🙄 (although she has sent me worse options)

I might go for the cybex Mios in spring blossom even though the price is eye watering.

Still open to other options though in the meantime...

Good like OP too, let me know what you go for xx

Elbeagle · 16/02/2020 11:22

Does it matter that your sister doesn’t like it, if you do? I didn’t ask anyone’s opinion on the pram we bought other than DH’s!
FWIW we got the Uppababy Vista and it has lasted 6 years and 3 babies so definitely recommend that one Smile

Elbeagle · 16/02/2020 11:27

Also, have you thought about the design features you want from a pram? We got the Vista because it had hard tyres rather than inflatable, was good on rough terrain (we have a dog that I walk twice a day), was parent facing for as long as needed, could be converted to a double, had a large shopping basket and an extendable handle for tall DH.
