Hi guys,

I miscarried last year at around 6/7 weeks and now I'm 7 weeks pregnant. Nausea got worse at 6 weeks with the occasional vomiting but now I'm vomiting 6 times a day!

As well as this I'm constantly thirsty I wake up to drink water , sometimes even 2 liters especially at night!

Is this normal? I have no bleeding or cramps but my chest is tender to the touch etc

Really sorry to hear that you're struggling, @BYousef - early pregnancy can be so tough. Hopefully someone will be along soon with some useful advice. Flowers

Go to your gp asap and ask for tablets.

Have a snack by your bed that you eat before you get out of bed in the morning. Really helps.

Get yourself to GP for sure, I'm also 7 weeks pregnant and my anti-sickness meds have made a world of difference.

I also use travel sickness bands, ginger and mint help some (made me more nauseated) and cold flat full coke can help (also gave me the boak but others swear by it!). I think it's all about trying different things and seeing what works for you. I also switched from Pregnacare max to just vit d and folic as I read the iron can make you deel more sick.

For sure go to your GP though, if you can get some anti-sickness meds it might make you feel a lot better.

Sounds really normal but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer on with it! The nausea is horrible and your doctor can prescribe you anti-sickness pills if it’s impacting on your day to day life.
