I'm interested to hear about other people's experiences of continuing or not exercise during pregnancy.
I'm only 4 weeks after fet, and am an older model!
But I've always been fit and run as part of my lifestyle.
I've completely stopped running during the treatment and transfer. I'm walking a lot and plan to swim.
During my last pregnancy, when I was 40, I ran all the way through and had a great birth as I felt so strong.

I admit I'm getting twitchy but really after 2 mc's I'm not sure running is the thing.

The advice is you can continue to do the things you did before pregnancy but speak to your doctor if you're worried. I'm 20 weeks today and still running and doing non pregnancy yoga. I feel without it my mental health would suffer so I will continue as long as I can

Thanks- yes I run for my mental health- those endorphins hit the spot!

@sequinednostrils can you ask your midwife/consultant based on your personal circumstances?
I'm 9 weeks and was running around 35k a week before getting pregnant, then got an injury at the same time. I wanted to run this morning but wasn't sure if I could restart. My brother is a doctor and said that as long as it's not something completely new for your body then it should be fine, but you should check with the medical professionals overseeing your care who you can explain your personal circumstances to. I hope they can reassure you Smile I too love to keep active so it's not nice worrying about whether you could be doing something harmful.
