Baby changed position 32+6 weeks

IFTM at 32+6 weeks. It feels like baby has changed position today and I have felt minimal movements because of this. I've had a cold drink and something sweet but still not much movement. Can changing position limit movements?

It can do but if you are at all concerned about a slow down or absence of movements please immediately contact your midwife to be checked out. They won't mind and would far rather you went in and got checked to be safe rather than sorry. xx

If you are ever in any doubt over movements ring maternity triage and go in.

What shall I do if I notice reduced movement?

If you think your baby’s movements have slowed down or stopped, contact
your midwife or maternity unit immediately (it is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a
week). Do not put off calling until the next day to see what happens.
Do not worry about phoning, it is important for your doctors and midwives to
know if your baby’s movements have slowed down or stopped.
Do not use any hand-held monitors, dopplers, or phone apps to check your
baby’s heartbeat. Even if you detect a heartbeat, this does not mean your
baby is well.
