Currently between 5-6 weeks pregnant with our second baby, I'm not sure if it's just my bad memory but I definitely don't remember having these kind of symptoms last time round.

I've been having period like cramps quite intense that come and go, pain in my hips especially my left side and just generally feeling so wiped out! I'm also testing like a maniac as we haven't had a scan yet and I just feel so overwhelmed 😭

Anyone offer any advice please? Xx

I got bad period pains just after finding out I was pregnant every time. It terrified me and I remember I kept running to the loo to wipe to check for blood! Blush
I think it's normal. So is feeling wiped out. It'll just get worse. I remember feeling like I didn't even have to energy to get up in the mornings some days in the first trimester.
I was also a manic serial tester! So completely understand. Hope you're able to relax a little once you're further along x

Hi OP,

I am 10weeks and I still get "period like pains" not as often as I did in the earlier weeks but they are still there! I went for an early scan when I was 9 weeks and was told everything looked okay with baby and I saw a nice healthy beating heart, so please don't worry too much. I know it's easier said than done as I still worry constantly, especially with my 12 week scan creeping up! But staying as stress free as possible is important. Congrats on baby number 2! Smile

Thank you both so much for replying and settling my mind a little!! I don't remember obsessing over every symptom this early with my little lady!! We have booked an early scan for 29th February as I'll be around 7 weeks by then and just to settle my mind hopefully. Thank you again ❤️❤️
