Private scan - what medical info can they give?

I’m considering a private scan as I’m having horrific sickness and struggling emotionally to accept this pregnancy. I can afford one so that’s not a concern.

My worry is that if they see a problem what do they do? Locally there are some attached to cheap pram shops and some attached to private hospitals.

I’m just concerned about having some bad news and then “now go away and convince the nhs to deal with your sadness” or “if you pay us £???? We will explain what’s happening”

Does anyone know what they do?

Ours told us upfront if there was an issue they picked up, they'd give us a referral letter to take to our local EPU/midwife/consultant to be reviewed there. They said they've detected early miscarriages many times and advised the mums to contact their EPU to make sure things progressed naturally or intervention could be offered.
