Pregnancy and bras for large norkage - non underwired or not?

Wore non underwired for my 1st pregnancy but wasn't happy with my shape without wires (am 36DD).

Whats the general concensus nowadays?

monkeybar - thanks for tips. I think I can just about still pass the pencil test and I'm in a 32G or something at the moment . I'm wearing underwired some days and non-wired sports bras other days and I'm wearing either a 'secret support' vest at night or a really rubbish non-wired bra that I've got. I'm going to follow your advice to the letter in the desperate hope that, like yours, my boobs go back to something resembling normal one day. If 2 years of wearing a bra 24 hours a day is what it takes then that's what I'll do .
