Period post miscarriage?

Dear all,
I am now 5 weeks post surgery after having an MMC and still no sign what so ever of my period.
I did 2 pergnancy tests that were negative (so miscarriage was complete) and no bleeding at all since 2 weeks after surgery.
I'm starting to be a bit concerned about my period not returning?
I know it depends from a woman to another, but i will appreciated getting your feedback on this.
How long after surgical management of miscarriage did your period returned?

So sorry for your loss.

Mine was a complete miscarriage so no intervention needed, however mine took 6 weeks to arrive. It will happen when your body is ready. Even just the grief and stress of what you’ve been through can delay it further.
I know the waiting is so hard but it will come in time

I've had 3 miscarriages all happened without medical or surgical intervention and it's taken between 4 and 6 weeks to start my period. I know the waiting is frustrating.

It's been 6 weeks now and still no sign of my period...
The hospital told me to cal' them back if no period after 6 weeks. Should I call or wait a bit longueur?
What will they do anyway? Do they do some sort of tests?
