FET after pregnacy

Hi ladies,

For those of you who have done IVF, how long did you wait after giving birth to have a FET? My little one is 4 months old and I know how incredibly lucky I am to have her but I’m desperate to put my other embryo back. If it doesn’t work I want to get the ball rolling with a second cycle as age isn’t on my side.

Also how did FET affect breastfeeding?

I've gave birth 4 months ago following ivf.

My consultant said whenever I felt ready, though because I had a C-Section I was advised to wait up 6 months.

You can still breastfeed during ivf, are having medication during this round? Check with your doctor first

@assilem92 Congrats! I guess I should contact my clinic. I’m not sure about medication because I’ve never done a FET before so I’m not sure how it works. When are you planning your next try (out of interest) x

My clinic said they wouldn't allow another transfer for 18 months after birth (but I've had one c section and likely would Need another). They said they would only do 12 months if I had a doctors report about healing of scar etc
