I was thinking of arranging a weekend in London for an old Uni friend who is recently pregnant and I have not seen for ages.

Nice day out or hectic ordeal?

Not something I would appreciate. If she is just pregnant she may not feel great and may not want to buy stuff yet.

The show in London is stressful and not really someone you’d want to do in early pregnancy. Plus if you buy anything you then have to face lugging it back home which is difficult to impossible while using public transport.

I would personally hate it, but you know your friend!
