I need some positive stories please. Twin A has high fluid and it seems to be increasing at an alarming rate. At 26+6 today the deepest pool was 12, 2 weeks ago it was 9. The same twin also had higher NT of 3.8mm but low risk nipt test.

Consultant mentioned that both of these can indicate genetic issues (although she can she the baby is swallowing). She now wants to see me weekly and is talking about needing to drain the fluid and also doing an amnio at 32 weeks.

I feel like it is inevitable there is something wrong. Today is a year since dd1’s funeral and I don’t think I can go through the pain of having another poorly baby :(

Oh I’m so sorry, I don’t have any experience in this specifically but couldn’t read and run!
My son had a supposed severe(fatal) genetic condition according to the first ultrasound tech. Which then got downgraded by each consultant we saw, and in the end it turned out to be a harmless fluke, that they will operate on eventually, but genetically he’s fine!

Things change scan to scan, I’m sorry I’m not very helpful but hopefully someone will be along soon who is! 💐
