40+3 with my first!
Any tips on how to take my mind off obsessing over every little symptom???
I know I’m not much over, but I can’t help over analysing everything. I’m getting so impatient.

Never ever thought I’d see the day that I would be desperate to give birth! Haha

I know it’s hard, I went into labour at 41+6...

I gave birth at 41+6 after induction with my first. This time round I have a list of EVERYTHING I want done around the house prior to babes arrival and will keep myself busy with that, plus filling the freezer and treating myself to lots of naps, a spa day and afternoons in coffee shops with a book! Things I will miss when #2 rocks up.

Just relax, do calming things, sleep. I was in labour 3 days and wish I'd chilled out more.

It's frustrating and you're desperate to me your mini me and everyone says make the most of it, which gets boring!!

One thing I wish I'd done, that people recommended, was batch cook meals. Especially as baby and me were kept in for a week and bloke lived off take outs!!

Good luck xx

My first was 2 weeks early. So I was fully convinced the next would be. I was huge and I mean huge and so uncomfortable with baby 2, he decided to hang in there 3 days over. I had curry, bouncing on a gym ball and have sex lol that actually worked with both mine. 2nd baby was born 10 hours later haha

Good luck xx

Such a long and dull waiting game! Take photos of your baby belly, make a final video of baby wiggling around, go for a walk, take a long warm bath, go to the cinema and have a last meal (pre baby) out with your husband/partner. I also second the batch cooking/baking for the freezer, it is so appreciated and I'm always starving after having a baby!
Won't be long now, hang in there! ❤️

I went 4 days over but finished work at 36 weeks and was soooo bored by the end! I made a point of doing 1 little thing every day, went to the cinema with DH, went to Ikea, had an eye test, had a baking day, had a manicure & pedicure. I made a point of not doing just 1 of these things daily and not until 2/3pm each day so I had the morning to chill and get ready then when I was done & home it was around 6pm so I was home for dinner and countdown to bed!
